After years in specialty coffee, I knew how much care went into every cup. When I moved into a more typical 9-5, a reusable cup suddenly became a necessity. I tried what felt like every cup I could find. Agitated by the flavour disruptions, clunky functionality, or materials that left an odour, the question became: what would my ideal reusable cup look like? The answer formed the foundation of Good Cuppa: simple function, with no unnecessary elements. Temperature retention that lasts just long enough. No loud branding. Colours that feel personal, varying with mood, and a look that brought me joy. What began as a personal project took an unexpected turn when industry samples received enthusiastic responses. This wasn’t meant to be a company; it was meant to be a solution to a personal problem. Good Cuppa remains deliberately small, where I still serve as designer, creative director, and all things customer service, allowing me to say thanks to all who are putting their trust in Good Cuppa. Each piece of feedback shapes what comes next, maintaining the organic evolution that started it all.
